I'm taking a Ham Radio class on Thursday and Friday evenings for a few weeks. I work at Lassen County Public Health in Emergency Preparedness and we are getting some Ham Radios as part of our grant this year. I figured someone ought to be licensed to use them. After they arrive, I'm going to have to convince more people to take the class and get licensed because I can't talk to myself!My book hasn't arrived yet, but I've been taking lots of notes. It would be embarrassing if I didn't pass the test. This is the instructor, Jack. He has lots of years of Ham Radio experience.
Now, do we need a Ham Radio at home?
