Today is supposed to have the biggest full moon of 2009, but it doesn't seem all that large. According the space.com the moon should look larger the nearer to moonrise that you see it. I took this just a few minutes after moonrise. Even thought the moon doesn't look that large, I like the colors of the sky. I should have put on my telephoto lens and taken my tripod when I walked down the alley across the street to take this. I was trying to get away from all the wires overhead.
